LADY OF THE LAKE

A wonderful uplifting fantasy set in the Welsh mountains and lake area of Pistyll Rhaeadr. Written and Directed by Hywel Phillips, an accomplished photographer and a great DoP!

Currently in pre-production we hope to make this a visually stunning portrayal of a short but poignant tale centred around one of the many folklore stories of lakes and spirits.

Logistically challenging for a short, the cast and crew have to hike for an hour to reach the location. And when you're in the Welsh Mountains, they tend to make their own weather! It could be snowing in May/June!

There also some special effects that we are playing with to enhance the presentation, to introduce a little wonderment at nature's connections with us.
